Gender affirmation surgery refers to procedures that help people transition to their self-identified gender.

Sex reassignment surgery (SRS), gender confirmation surgery (GCS) these are recognised terms for the surgical procedures to help people transition to their self-identified gender.

Top Surgery - this is the term referred to for removal of the breasts to make a more gender neutral form. Often the original nipples can be moved and reduced in size, or, the nipples can be completely removed.

Mastectomy - another term for the removal of Breast and Chest skin and tissue. Mastectomies are more commonly mentioned when we talk about cancer related treatments.

Feminisation Surgery is where we see Breast Augmentation surgeries take place, this results in us helping to create more feminine nipples. We do this with Nipple Enlargement*

Masculinisation Surgery is where we see Breast Reduction surgeries take place, this results in us helping with the scars around the new smaller nipples. We do this with Breast Uplift Tattoo*

Gender Affirming Treatments
If you have managed to keep your nipples or opted to have them removed, the tattooing service I offer can help you feel complete and yourself.

Each person is different and through choice or following surgery, that person may need a brand new set or one singular tattooed nipple.
​
Your choices during the surgery may mean you opted to keep your nipples; this means they may have been surgically reduced in size, and you may have a simple circular scar around the nipple.

How can we help with this?
​
Scar Revision is an option. This is a process where we help the skin rejuvenate, sometimes re-pigment itself, and also help with the texture and feel of the scar. For this treatment, no tattoo ink will be implanted. The body is amazing, and the skin is a mind-blowing organ.
If you have tried this MCA or Microneedling process already and you are now ready for tattooing, we can help blend and camouflage the scar into the areola tissue and skin.
Perfecting your existing nipples

If you have completed your surgery and healing process and are now looking at your nipples and they are too small, irregular in shape or lost definition and the 3D element, we can help you with tattooing.
​
In medical terms, tattooing is exactly the same as body tattooing. We treat the area by adding tattoo pigments to the skin to help rebuild and camouflage or create depth and shadow.

Tattooing this treatment will take a couple of sessions; in the first treatment, Kally will assess and carry out a full tattoo treatment; this will be discussed with you before, during and after.
We will then ask for images to be sent in before we carry out a second treatment. Why? So we ask for pictures to be sent in to make sure
1. Kally can tweak and perfect the nipple. Sometimes, there is nothing to be done, and the tattoo is perfect after one treatment!

2. Time management: Sending in a picture is a brilliant gauge for determining the length of the second appointment. Kally always books out the same time for all first tattoo treatments, but the second session can vary from person to person.
​
3. Colour and Detail, even if you feel your tattoos are perfect Kally loves to be able to see the healed result. And as a perfectionist will always see room for improvement.
