WHAT IS A 3D TATTOO?

A 3D Areola Nipple Tattoo is a permanent tattoo designed and tattooed in a clever style to look like it is actually 3D, where many patients are tattooed on completely flat skin. It is an illusion using a variety of colours and design techniques.
WHEN DO WE TATTOO?
​
Following surgery where the natural nipple was removed for several reasons, we can create ultra-realistic-looking nipples with medical tattooing. We can tattoo over scars and even surgical nipple reconstructions. Tattooing is not always required because of breast cancer; many patients come in for tattooing for other reasons, such as burns, surgery, gender, and genetic reasons.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

Due to the nature of the pigments, we will always invite you back for a second session. Please note that all treatments are chargeable and require a booking fee (unless you are booked in for the 'Balance Clinic').

The second session may not take as long as the first, as we aim to safely get as much ink in the skin as the first treatment. Both appointments are charged at the same price; we split the cost of the 'total' treatment into two payments to make it more affordable.

WHO IS THE TATTOOIST?
Kally is a trained AWARD WINNING Areola Tattooist, meaning she is trained specially in this area. Kally treats hundreds of clients each year and has a recognised unique style.

HOW CAN I BOOK?

If a surgeon has recommended you and wants to apply for the 'Balance Paid' clinic, please complete the following form.

Please note that the Balance Paid clinic is NOT funded by any 'person' trust' charity' or 'organisation', so we are now having to be very strict with the application process. If you have in the past received a 'free' treatment, please note that this will not automatically mean the application will be successful.
BALANCE PAID—Apply for the 'Balance Paid' treatment by completing the APPLICATION form. All bookings require a £50 admin fee (this goes towards admin, consumables, time, and insurance). Please note that these treatments are not funded by any NHS Hospital or Trust and are carried out by Kally as a gesture of goodwill (pro bono). All patients must be referred to us by a pre-approved surgeon to qualify for this treatment.

PAID CLINIC—This option is for clients who want to pay personally for their treatment. Treatment prices start at £250 per nipple per session. The balance after the deposit will be taken on the day of the deposit.
PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE - Kally is a registered tattooist recognised by BUPA, AXA, VITALITY, and other private insurance companies. BUPA will provide you with a reference number, which we will need to use to process the claim. Different insurance providers will ask you to either pay for the treatment and make a claim, or we will process the claim on our end. For more info, email Carly at info@kally.co.uk
MODEL SLOTS - Kally is an international teacher and trains other tattoo artists in the skill of 3D tattooing. Due to Kally's technique's popularity, many students are booking training courses. Kally teaches in small groups or one-to-one, and we always look for models happy to have treatment carried out during a lesson. All students are pre-trained and will have completed days of training and pre-study before they work on models. Please note that we take a £50 admin fee on all appointments. We have had to do this because, unfortunately, we have had a number of 'no-show' failed appointments, which means everyone loses out.
